Reliance Retail enters the quick commerce industry. The key players in this space are Zomato-owned Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto. It has started its commerce service in areas of Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai via its e-commerce platform, JioMart. 

Reliance Industries, India’s largest conglomerate, laid off 42,000 employees in FY24, reducing its workforce to 171,000 for cost-efficiency purposes.

JioMart, owned by Mukesh Ambani's Reliance group, will launch a 30-minute delivery service next month, targeting India's top 8 metros first and then 20-30 cities.
