Skincare brand Hyphen reported revenue of Rs 50.4 crore in FY25, marking a 6.6X increase from Rs 7.6 crore in FY24, according to its financial statements sourced from the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
In line with the surge in revenue, the company’s total expenses rose 4.3X to Rs 63.3 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 14.8 crore in FY24. The cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 19.2 crore in FY25, accounting for 30% of total expenses, up from Rs 2.8 crore in the previous fiscal year.
Advertisement and sales promotion expenses formed the largest share of overall spending, contributing 43% of total expenses at Rs 27.12 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 4.8 crore in FY24.
The company’s net loss widened by 80% to Rs 12.9 crore in FY25, from Rs 7.2 crore in FY24. However, Hyphen improved its unit economics, spending Rs 1.26 to earn every rupee of revenue in FY25, compared to Rs 1.97 in FY24.
