Katrina Kaif’s Cosmetics Brand Kay Beauty Jumps 50% to Rs 132 Crore Revenue in FY25; Net Profit at Rs 11 Crore

Kay Beauty, co-founded by Katrina Kaif and backed by Nykaa, surged 50% to Rs 132 crore revenue in FY25, while net profit stood at Rs 11 crore amid rising expenses.

Katrina Kaif’s makeup brand Kay Beauty reported Rs 132.4 crore revenue in FY25, marking a 50% year-on-year growth, from Rs 88.3 crore in FY24, according to its financial statements sourced from Registrar of Companies (RoC).

Employee benefit expenses rose to Rs 7.5 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 3.2 crore in FY24. Finance cost stood at Rs 1 crore during the year. The cost of goods sold increased to Rs 40.8 crore in FY25, from Rs 27 crore in the previous fiscal.

Marketing and advertising expenses were at Rs 16.6 crore in FY25, doubling from Rs 8.3 crore in FY24. The company also spent Rs 13.2 as a beauty advisor expense in FY25. Overall, total expenses climbed 60% to Rs 117.6 crore in FY25, up from Rs 73.2 crore in FY24.

The company reported a net profit of Rs 11 crore in FY25, marginally lower than Rs 11.3 crore in FY24. On a unit economics basis, Kay Beauty spent Rs 0.89 to earn every rupee in FY25, compared to Rs 0.83 in the previous year.

Kay Beauty is a premium Indian cosmetics brand co-founded in 2019 by Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif in a strategic partnership with Nykaa.
