Telangana’s IT minister, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, announced plans to make Hyderabad India’s AI capital by creating a dedicated AI city on 200 acres. The project, starting in September, targets industries like agriculture and healthcare.

Foxconn is building a plant near Hyderabad, Telangana, initially creating 25,000 jobs and eventually over 100,000. Starting in August, it will manufacture Apple’s AirPods.
