In times when love and commitment are taking a backseat in people’s lives, a website called Zikilove has introduced the world’s first relationship insurance.

What is Zikilove?

A viral video circulating on social media has introduced the company Zikilove, which is offering the world’s first "relationship insurance policy."

“Introducing Zikilove Insurance, the first-ever insurance that pays you for staying loyal in a relationship… Pay a premium every year for five years, and if you marry your partner, we’ll give you 10x your investment for your wedding. If you break up, you get nothing.”

On Zikilove, couples will have to pay a yearly premium for five years while dating. If their relationship survives leading to marriage, they would receive a 10x return on the total premiums paid, which they can use to fund their wedding.

But if a couple breaks up?

"They get nothing (except life experience and emotional damage)."

And that’s the risk you have to take!

According to Sohan Rai, the founder and CEO of Zikilove, this could be the best “investment” ever if you feel you have found your soulmate.

Rai believes the offered plan is a financial reward for staying loyal and committed in an era of breakups, ghosting, and "situationships."

“In a world of ghosting, cheating, and “he’s just a friend” excuses, finding true love is harder than ever,” tells Zikilove. “That’s why we created a financial safety net for your heart—because if love is a gamble, shouldn’t you at least get paid for winning?”

Netizens react

Though a fraction of the internet community has already labelled the insurance as a "game-changer", some are criticising it or making relationships seem like a laughing stock.

“Can I get the reward, split it with my partner, and then undo the marriage?” A user jokingly asked.

Another individual commented, “Boy is ready to be the next big entrepreneur.”

Someone said, “As a relationship expert, I’ve never seen a more game-changing product in this space. This is the future.”
