Woman Alleges that a Blinkit Delivery Man ‘Barged’ into Her House After She Raised a Complaint Over an Undelivered Order

A Bengaluru woman shared an unsettling incident through her LinkedIn post about the threatening behaviour of a Blinkit delivery executive after she had reported an undelivered order. The delivery executive allegedly entered the woman’s gate and stood outside her door issuing threats. 

Delivery Man Barges into Her Home 

In her account of the situation, Surya PM, a Pocket FM Executive, explained that she first contacted customer support to complain about an order that was marked as "delivered" even though it hadn't arrived. The e-grocery store was able to resolve this issue, she added.

She claimed that the delivery man, alongside another individual, barged through the gate of her house and stood outside her door while threatening her about raising the complaint. She said that this experience made her feel threatened and extremely unsafe.

“I am extremely concerned for my safety and expect an immediate response from Blinkit to investigate this situation," said Surya in her post.

Surya’s LinkedIn Post 

In her LinkedIn post, Surya tagged her Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal & Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa, raising concerns about the incident.

She shared the incident in vivid detail in her post. 

“I am extremely concerned for my safety and expect an immediate response from Blinkit to investigate this situation. This behaviour is completely unacceptable. Please escalate this matter immediately and inform me of the actions Blinkit will be taking to resolve this.

However, what happened next was extremely alarming: the delivery executive, accompanied by one other individual, both of them with no Blinkit attire, barged through my house gate and stood outside my door. 

I was then threatened by these individuals, which left me feeling unsafe and violated. When I requested a call from your team to address this urgent matter, I was simply left with a message, which does not address the severity of the situation. I am attaching an image of the communication for your reference.

Please escalate this matter immediately and inform me of the actions Blinkit will be taking to resolve this.”

Blinkit’s Reply 

In response to the woman's complaint, Blinkit stated that the issue would be resolved pending an internal investigation. “We understand your disappointment, and we truly apologise for any inconvenience caused,” Blinkit said.

The woman said she was disappointed with Blinkit's follow-up despite providing clear video proof of the issue. “It has been quite a while now, and there has been no resolution or any meaningful communication from your side,” she claimed.

Several users have also urged the woman to file a police complaint. Blinkit is yet to officially respond to her post.
