This Dhanteras Blinkit & Others Announce Gold & Silver Delivery in Just 10 Mins at Your Doorstep

Blinkit founder, Albinder Dhindsa announced today on social media that people can order authentic gold and silver coins on Dhanteras along with regular grocery supplies through the Blinkit app within 10 minutes.

Quick commerce platforms in a 'gold rush'

To make the most business in this festive season, India’s quick-commerce giants Blinkit, BigBasket, and Swiggy Instamart are now delivering gold, and silver coins to doorsteps in just 10 mins. 

These companies have teamed up with reputed jewelers to provide customers with authentic gold and silver. BigBasket is collaborating with Tata-owned jeweler Tanishq. Lakshmi Ganesh silver coin with 999.9 purity and 22 Karat gold coins with a Lakshmi motif are in their offers. 

While Blinkit has collaborated with Malabar, Joyalukkas, and MMTC.

The quick-commerce leaders are going beyond their usual supplies of groceries and daily essentials to cater to festive needs and help people with their last-minute shopping. Notably, Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart had already given a similar service on Akshaya Tritiya earlier this year, when they delivered complete festival kits, including worship essentials and flowers in a short time span.
