While speaking at Mumbai Tech Week, Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash Ambani recently revealed more about his father, Mukesh Ambani, his biggest inspiration. He discussed how his upbringing in a close-knit family has influenced his values and ambitions in an interview with Dream Sports CEO Harsh Jain.
Mukesh Ambani’s Work Ethic
Akash Ambani emphasised his father's exceptional work ethic by sharing that, despite his forty years in the business, Mukesh Ambani still answers all emails until two in the morning.
"Till date, my father clears each and every email that is sent to him, and he does it till 2 am at night, and he's working for the fourth decade of his working life. And that's where the inspiration really comes from," stated Akash Ambani at the Mumbai Tech Week.

Nita Ambani’s Eye For Detail is an Inspiration
In his interview, Akash Ambani also praised his mother, Nita Ambani, for her distinct approach to dedication and passion.
"My mom, very, very similarly, like she will be staring at the same thing we share of joint passion for cricket, and we're watching the same TV, but the small little details that she notices are something that you can draw inspiration out of,” said Akash Ambani about his mother, Nita Ambani.
He also added that he thinks that out of and above everything is that dedication is the biggest inspiration for everyone around him.
Akash Ambani was asked in a rapid-fire round if he would rather work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. In response, the Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman said that his workday goes far beyond twelve hours, and he thanked his wife, Shloka Mehta, for putting up with his demanding schedule.
