Grover became popular with the business reality television series, Shark Tank India. His frank opinion and bold attitude often raised controversies. Even during the current promotions of the upcoming season, Shaadi.com CEO Anupam Mittal took an indirect dig at Grover following a verbal feud between them on social media.
Meanwhile, netizens showered remarks on LinkedIn, with some taking a jibe at his necessity for trademark and others suggesting future Grover parents avoid naming their sons as ‘Ashneer.’
Incidentally, netizens have compared Snapdeal CEO Kunal Bahl to former shark Ashneer Grover for his aggressive attitude after watching the teaser for the upcoming fourth season of Shark Tank India.
On the other hand, some professionals think that this move by Ashneer Grover entails more royalties from Sony TV for using his name during the promos of the reality show, Shark Tank India. Notably, Grover has not yet made a public statement regarding this.
