Chhattisgarh-based Creative Strategist shares a pitch deck as his job application for a copywriter role at Swiggy Instamart; instead of a traditional resume, he chose to share a post on LinkedIn, hoping to catch the e-grocery store’s attention.

Gone are the days of boring cover letters and traditional resumes, as one has to truly stand out to get hired in today’s job market. Chhattisgarh native Pranay Awadhiya brought his A game while applying for a copywriter role at Swiggy Instamart via LinkedIn.
In his LinkedIn post, Pranay Awadhiya shared a pitch deck of six slides as his creative job application. Awadhiya took a creative approach by crafting a series of witty, ad-style graphics in hopes of gaining Swiggy Instamart’s attention online.
He captioned the post, "Hello, Swiggy Instamart, I saw that you are hiring a copywriter! So, here is something for you." The Creative Strategist also tagged Swiggy employees Alisha Savla, Lead Copy, and Himangini Kumar, Assistant Manager (Content).
"LinkedIn se pata chala, Swiggy Instamart is hiring a copywriter, toh main bhi aagaya apne creativity ka order lekar," his post read, in the most Swiggy-style graphic ever.
He also highlighted why Swiggy ought to look into him more closely, saying,
Furthermore, Awadhiya compared his creativity to Swiggy’s offerings, writing, "Meri creativity grocery ki tarah stocked rehti hai, bas add to cart karne ki deri hai."
As a way of showing his love for the company, he reimagined a popular song with a Swiggy twist:
His post that ends with “Aap hire karne ke liye convince hogaye ya main aur slides add karoon” quickly went viral online, with LinkedIn users pouring in massive support and appreciation for the copywriter.
His unique pitch quickly gained traction online, with social media users applauding his ingenuity and showing all the love in the comment section. LinkedIn users want the copywriter hired and are urging Swiggy Instamart to take a look at the post.
A user wrote, “You may get confused between dhaniya and pudina, but I don’t see any confusion in your work. So creative!”
Another user commented, “Swiggy Instamart, you should add him to your hiring cart ASAP. Pranay Awadhiya, this is so cool & creative.”
