Founded by a Commercial Pilot, Smart Wearables Brand Noise Posts Rs 1,065 Crore Revenue in FY25; Reports Rs 3.2 Crore Profit

Bose-backed smart wearables brand Noise reports 24% revenue decline to Rs 1,065 crore in FY25, yet swings back to profitability with Rs 3.2 crore net profit.

Indian consumer electronics brand Noise posted Rs 1,065.5 crore revenue in FY25, marking a 24% decline from Rs 1,395 crore in FY24, according to its financial statements sourced from the Registrar of Companies (RoC).

The company generated Rs 1,048 crore from operations (sale of products) and Rs 17.1 crore from other income in FY25, compared to Rs 1,384 crore and Rs 10.7 crore, respectively, in FY24.

In line with the drop in topline, total expenses contracted by 25% to Rs 1,067 crore in FY25 from Rs 1,417 crore in FY24. The cost of procurement declined by 23% year-on-year to Rs 725 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 993 crore in FY24. Employee benefit expenses also declined by 12% to Rs 70.5 crore in FY25, down from Rs 80.6 crore in FY24. 

Finance cost and depreciation stood at Rs 28.5 crore and 4.7 crore, respectively, in FY25. 

Marketing expenses saw a sharper correction, declining 37% from Rs 286 crore in FY24 to Rs 180 crore in FY25.

Despite the contraction in revenue, the company returned to profitability, posting a net profit of Rs 3.2 crore in FY25 compared to a loss of Rs 22 crore in FY24. On a unit economics basis, Noise spent Rs 1.02 to earn every rupee of revenue in FY25, unchanged from FY24.

About Noise

Noise (legally Nexxbase Marketing Pvt. Ltd.) is an Indian consumer electronics brand specialising in smart wearables and audio products. Founded in 2014 by brothers Amit Khatri and Gaurav Khatri, the company is headquartered in Gurugram.

Gaurav Khatri, CEO and co-founder, is a commercial pilot by training, while Amit Khatri, his cousin, co-founded the company alongside him.

The brand initially began by selling smartphone cases and covers. In 2018, it strategically pivoted to smart wearables and audio devices a move that significantly accelerated its growth trajectory. Today, its portfolio includes smartwatches, wireless earphones, and speakers, sold through major e-commerce platforms as well as its own website. The company commands a significant share of India’s smartwatch market.

Noise remained a bootstrapped venture for nearly a decade before securing its first external capital. In December 2023, the company announced a strategic investment from Bose Corporation, raising $10 million at a valuation of $460 million, marking its maiden fundraise since inception.

In April 2025, the company secured an additional $20 million (Rs 172 crore) from Bose. Noise is now accelerating its international expansion, targeting the UK, Europe, and the Middle East (GCC) markets with its smart wearables portfolio.

To date, the company has raised $30 million.

In May 2024, the company acquired SocialBoat, an AI-driven platform focused on addressing menstrual health, PCOS, thyroid-related concerns, and other women’s health issues.

As of March 31, 2025, co-founder Amit Khatri held a 57.2% stake in the company, while co-founder Gaurav Khatri owned 39.06%. Bose Corporation held a 2.34% stake.
