22-YO techie shares achievements, internet applauds

He wrote on LinkedIn, “Turned 22 today and here is a quick look at the past year," before listing one milestone after another.

According to Adithya, the year began with a machine learning internship at Apple, where he worked closely with a strong team that sharpened his technical skills. After that, he joined Microsoft Research, where he worked on agentic memory. Next, he secured a six-figure research grant from Meta. The grant, known as the LLaMA Impact Grant, will support his work on building frontier-level AI models at CognitiveLab.

Along with these achievements, the young techie published five research papers, with his work being accepted at major global conferences such as AAAI, NAACL, CVPR, ICCV, and NeurIPS workshops.

Adithya mentioned launching a project called Vibemotion, a tool focused on motion graphics, which crossed 200,000 views and received early positive feedback from users.

The techie further added that he released a state-of-the-art AI model from India that can compete with global models, something that had been on his wish list for a long time.

What’s more, he had won three major hackathons and finished a 6-week AI residency at Lossfunk.

The young Bengaluru techie excitedly revealed the chance to interview with some of his dream tech companies and research labs.

He concluded the post by saying that he graduated B.Tech from PES University and got featured on the Economic Times, MIT Technology Review and Analytics India Magazine (AIM) this year.

Netizens respond

The internet community lauded the young techie, congratulating him and pouring best wishes.

"22 and already bridging the gap between research and product better than most do in their entire careers. The MSR → Meta grant → frontier AI models trajectory is particularly compelling. Also, "lovable for motion graphics" is a perfect pitch for Vibemotion—stealing that framing style 😄 Excited to follow what comes next. Happy birthdayAdithya," commented a user.

"We are almost the same age!! Really inspiring!!" said another user.

A third user wrote: "Great. More higher peaks to conquer. This is just the beginning. Keep it up."
