The Indian government is planning to announce the new EV policy aimed at encouraging global EV manufacturers to invest in India by significantly lowering import duties from 110% to 15%.
According to a report by The Economic Times, Tesla Inc.'s senior counsel, Chander Lall, argued that Tesla Power's use of its trademark in India was causing confusion among consumers and harming the business interests of the US firm.
