OYO’s parent company, Oravel Stays, has launched its European holiday home brand, DanCenter, in North Goa. The Danish brand is set to open premium villas and apartments.
In 2019, Ritesh Agarwal-led OYO Vacation Homes acquired DanCenter, a 1957-founded Danish brand with a long history in the holiday rental sector. It oversees 12,000 properties across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Germany, managing a diverse portfolio.
DanCenter in North Goa
DanCenter’s first project will be newly built three-bedroom luxury villas in Siolim, North Goa. With amenities like housekeeping, local activities, booking assistance, a chef on call, and a barbecue on request, each property strives to offer a private and comfortable stay.
According to OYO, these high-end villas have been created to satisfy the demands of both domestic and foreign tourists seeking a premium vacation experience in one of India's most popular vacation spots.
“We are excited to bring DanCenter’s unique vacation home experience to India, starting with Goa—a destination synonymous with leisure and luxury. There is a growing demand for luxury holiday home rentals in India, and we think it is the right time to introduce the DanCenter experience to our guests.” - Aditya Sharma, Luxury Business Head, Oravel Stay
"Indian travellers today seek more than just accommodation; they desire personalised, high-quality experiences in well-managed, luxurious spaces. With our legacy of over six decades in Europe, we bring deep expertise in curating exceptional vacation stays." - Arjun Singh Meena, Business Head of DanCenter India

Future Plans for the Holiday Home Brand
DanCenter, with over six decades of experience in Europe, intends to extend its expertise in holiday home management to Indian tourists looking for a mix of comfort and unique local experiences. The brand will continue to concentrate on newly constructed properties in India, according to OYO, with plans to guarantee high standards and modern amenities.
The Danish holiday home brand is also in the advanced stages of discussion with Provident Group with hopes of opening premium serviced apartments in Goa.
OYO made a significant move with this launch, expanding its global reach and showcasing India's potential for growth in the vacation rental sector.
