Recently, when Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal shared a post on X, wishing people a Happy Diwali, however, stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra restarted the discussion around Ola Electric's "poor services". He teased Aggarwal to share the photos of Ola's service centers instead. This was his way of pointing out the ongoing customer complaints and servicing issues with Ola's electric scooters.

Here's what happened
Notably, Kamra has been targeting the CEO over Ola electric scooter issues since early October when he took to the X platform (formerly Twitter), questioning the delays at the company’s service centers.
Kamra’s complaints initially targeted the company’s high volume of unresolved service issues, reportedly reaching 80,000 complaints monthly.
However, the comedian started accusing Aggarwal after that for ignoring Ola customers’ concerns.

A few days back, Kamra even reached out to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on X on the matter. Sharing an “alert” post by a user named Prathamesh Daga with a video of an Ola service centre showing “all scooters in bad condition”, Kamra asked the Minister when the government would intervene in the matter.
Also, the comedian has put two demands before Ola Electric:
1. 7-Day Repair Commitment: The comedian urged Aggarwal's company to complete all scooter repairs within 7 business days after a customer requests service at any authorized centre.
2. Compensation for Delays: However, if the repairs take longer than the 7-day period, Kamra proposed that Ola should provide either a temporary replacement scooter or a daily conveyance reimbursement of Rs. 500 should be made until the repair is complete.
Furthermore, he proposed an additional Rs. 500 compensation per day of delay, topping at Rs. 50,000.
However, Ola Electric has not yet responded to Kamra's claims.
