Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal announced today, September 27 the launch of HyperService to improve Ola Electric's after-sales service and address issues reported by customers. This comes after several complaints charged by Ola electric customers nationwide and protest posts by EV users on social media.

With HyperService the company will expand its network and build the best in class ownership experience with on-demand and AI-powered service.

The company plans to increase the number of its service centres from 500 to 1,000 by the end of this year to provide faster repairs for its electric vehicles across India.

The Ola founder has also elaborated on the key features of the new service in his social media post that would roll on from 5th October 2024.

Nationwide deeper penetration for Electric Vehicles

Ola is about to train 1,00,000 third-party mechanics under their Network Partner Program to make every mechanic in India EV-ready by Dec 2025.

Quick Service Guarantee

From now on Ola guarantees a 1-day resolution of service issues. In case of a delay, they are promising to provide a backup S1 scooter. Moreover, Ola Care+ customers will also get free Ola Cabs coupons until their service is resolved.

Ownership experience of the future

The company assures AI-powered proactive maintenance and remote diagnostics to give users a one-of-a-kind ownership experience. Through this issues would be diagnosed even before they arise to address them proactively at customers' doorstep.

Incidentally, after the two-wheelers, Ola Electric is set to launch their three-wheeler Raahi by the yearend.

The Ola founder’s announcement comes as a positive note that the company is ready to go the extra mile to serve its customers. Several netizens have commended Aggarwal’s post and welcomed the new initiatives. However, some people have raised doubts about whether the company will deliver the services as promised.

One X user commented on Aggarwal’s post saying, “Enough of jhoote Vaade and paid PR @bhash @OlaElectric. Even the issues are issues are not resolved in a week and you brag about providing spare scooter, your company is not even admitting scooter for service.”

Another wrote: “Good to see the service improvement. It is much needed for the EV revolution.”

Someone else remarked: “You're creating an ecosystem that is self-sustaining and future-proof. This step will accelerate the adoption of EVs across the country and make India a global leader in the electric vehicle space.”
