A Bengaluru woman recently shared a protest post against the Ola Electric scooter company on X (formerly Tweeter). As a customer, she got so frustrated with the scooter that she took to X and posted a photo of her two-wheeler along with an attached placard that read, "Dear Kannadigas, Ola is a useless two-wheeler. If you buy one, it only makes your life hard. Please do not buy an Ola Electric scooter."

As reported by Moneycontrol, Nisha Gowri, the disappointed customer, regretted purchasing the vehicle. So, she was cautioning others from making the same choice.

Another case of a disgruntled customer

An aggrieved buyer from Kalaburagi, Karnataka had set fire to an Ola Electric service station earlier. Moneycontrol got information from police sources that a 26-year-old person called Mohammad Nadeem bought petrol and set fire to the showroom.

Nadeem had been facing persistent issues with the two-wheeler but was not receiving the required response from the Ola Electric staff as reported.

His action damaged six scooters causing an estimated loss of Rs 8.5 lakh. The company immediately announced that legal action would be taken against Nadeem. Although they did not address the details of Nadeem's complaints.

And now Gowri disclosed that her recently bought electric two-wheeler stopped multiple times while commuting and the glitch did not go away even after the software was updated.

And the post goes viral…

Her post gained widespread attention, sparking a heated discussion on X about the quality and service of Ola Electric scooters.

An X user wrote, "This lady deserves a standing ovation. Ola has degraded so badly as a company in the last few years. Worst EV."

"Same here. Below 50km it drops all of a sudden to no charge left. And also while riding on harsh road, it makes dabba noise," another user remarked.

OLA Electric’s upcoming vehicle

According to an exclusive ETAuto report, OLA Electric is all set to launch its new Electric 3-wheeler (EV 3W) by the end of this year. Ola EV 3W has been tentatively named ‘Raahi’ which in Hindi means ‘traveler.’

Recent spy images indicate the upcoming Electric 3-wheeler has been designed practically with minimalist features to enhance space. The front profile of the vehicle has a large windshield, square headlights, A-pillar mounted ORVMs, and safety doors for the cabin.
