Astrotalk’s Revenue Surges 85% to Rs 1,214 Crore in FY25
Online astrology platform Astrotalk reported a 85% surge in total revenue to Rs 1214.5 crore in FY25, up from Rs 666 crore in FY24, according to its financial statements sourced from Registrar of Companies (RoC).
Revenue from operations stood at Rs 1176.5 crore in FY25, a 83% increase from Rs 643.5 crore in FY24. Nearly 80% of the operating revenue came from India, and the remaining 20% was generated from international markets.
The company also earned Rs 38 crore from other income sources, including interest from fixed deposits, bonds, and gains from mutual funds, compared to Rs 12.5 crore in FY24.
Astrotalk’s total expenses more than doubled to Rs 1,129.2 crore in FY25, rising from Rs 542.5 crore in FY24. Employee benefit expenses jumped nearly fivefold to Rs 143 crore in FY25, up from Rs 30 crore in FY24. Meanwhile, the company doubled its marketing expenditure to Rs 331.2 crore, compared to Rs 156.8 crore in FY24.
As per the filings,net profits declined by 61% to Rs 33 crore in FY25, down from Rs 85.5 crore in FY24. On average, the company spent Rs 0.96 to generate every rupee of revenue in FY25, compared to Rs 0.84 in FY24.
