Following earlier hints about his newest venture, Eternal CEO Deepinder Goyal’s “Coming Soon" post across social media offers an update on ‘Temple’, a device designed to monitor brain blood flow.

What is Temple?

The device is part of his ongoing research into the Gravity Ageing Hypothesis, a theory proposing that gravity may play a direct role in the human ageing process by potentially reducing blood flow to the brain.

The ‘mysterious’ tiny device recently spotted on his right temple is an experimental monitor, which Goyal called “world-class”.

Coming Soon. Follow @temple for more updates,” Goyal said. While replying to a comment on his post, he called the device “World class, to say the least.”

Goyal explained that Temple is an “experimental device to calculate Brain Flow accurately, real-time, and continuously.”

He outlined the idea, which he described as “scientific yet unconventional,” suggesting that gravity shortens lifespan.

“I’m not sharing this as the CEO of Eternal, but as a fellow human, curious enough to follow a strange thread... Newton gave us a word for it. Einstein said it bends spacetime. I am saying gravity shortens lifespan,” Goyal wrote in introducing the theory.

The new device appears to be the first hardware manifestation of Goyal's deep personal interest in longevity and anti-ageing research.

To respond to the naysayers, in an earlier post, he said, “I did not explain the Gravity Aging Hypothesis (GAH) well, the first time.

I brought my consumer internet brain into a deep scientific field and I miscommunicated. I tried to compress years of research and thinking into a dramatic social media reveal.

That made the hypothesis sound absolute and commercial – while it’s really not.”
