Adithyan RK & Surya N - Founders of Hyring AI Interviewer
Building a great team is every entrepreneur’s superpower—but it’s also one of their toughest challenges. For Adithyan RK, this very struggle led to something groundbreaking.
Entrepreneurship wasn’t part of a childhood dream. It was born out of necessity. At just 15 (In 2008), when most teens were focused on school and hobbies, Adithyan was figuring out ways to earn money.
What began as a side hustle turned into a thriving tech consultancy with over 50 employees. The firm expanded into mobile apps, digital marketing, and cybersecurity. But as the company grew, one problem kept repeating—recruitment.
Clients not only needed tech solutions but also developers, and hiring them was slow, costly, and inefficient.
“Recruiters spend 70% of their time screening candidates and often only interview the top 10%, leading to missed opportunities and poor hiring decisions,” Adithyan realized.
This insight sparked the creation of Hyring AI Interviewer, co-founded in 2024 with Surya N.
The AI Brain Behind the Product

Surya N, a mechanical engineer with a deep interest in artificial intelligence, had already been developing AI-based applications in their consultancy. When Adithyan proposed the idea of using AI for hiring, Surya saw both the potential and the challenge.
“AI can change recruitment, but the goal was to make it behave less like a robot and more like a real human interviewer,” said Surya.
He began building the AI from scratch—an interviewer that doesn’t just conduct interviews but listens, adapts, and even detects fraud.
What Sets Hyring Apart?

While many platforms use AI for hiring, most fall short. They rely on keyword matching or rigid question sets, making the process feel mechanical and impersonal.
“Hyring AI Interviewer isn’t a glorified resume scanner,” said Adithyan. “It engages with candidates. If someone struggles, the AI can rephrase or explain further—it’s dynamic, not scripted.”
One of the platform’s standout features is its anti-cheat mechanism, which goes far beyond plagiarism detection.
Hyring’s AI Interviewer detects:
-
Multiple faces or voices in the frame
-
Use of external monitors to find answers
-
Screen sharing attempts
-
Suspicious background noise or behavior
-
AI-generated or scripted responses
-
Face out of view from the screen
-
Seeing and reading from other devices
-
Lip sync issues
These checks help recruiters ensure that candidates are authentic and genuinely qualified. Additionally it also provides unique insights like Confidence, depth of knowledge, eye contact, clarity, problem solving capabilities, etc.
How the Hyring AI Interviewer Works

The process is simple and scalable.
Recruiters log in to Hyring’s dashboard, set up interview criteria, and let the AI take over. A unique interview link is generated and shared with candidates, who can take the assessment immediately.
Within minutes, Hyring delivers a ranked list of top candidates, complete with video responses, AI-generated summaries, and communication scores—saving recruiters weeks of manual effort.
Designed for HRs

Most platforms focus only on employers. But Hyring AI Interviewer benefits job seekers, too. But the catch is, employers should have invited or posted the AI interview job. It is not a B2C product where candidates can use this AI agent for mock interviews.
“Candidates often apply and never hear back. We change that. They get instant interviews—no ghosting, no waiting,” Adithyan explained.
Even those without polished resumes get a fair shot. The AI evaluates communication, clarity, and domain knowledge directly through video responses.
Plus, candidates receive feedback—even if they’re not selected. It’s a win for learning and future job hunts.
