A Bold Leap of Faith

In 2011, Vineet made a life-changing decision. Leaving behind a prestigious job in the USA, where he earned over one crore per year, he chose to return to India.
His dream? To build something meaningful and leave a lasting impact on his homeland.
Despite the financial security and success abroad, he felt a strong calling to contribute to India's agricultural landscape, recognizing the dire need for change in farming practices that were damaging soil fertility and reducing crop productivity. Vineet's entrepreneurial spirit and his passion for sustainability led him to take the bold step of establishing R.M. Phosphates.
Revolutionizing Farming with R.M. Phosphates
R.M. Phosphates was founded with a transformative goal—to break India's reliance on conventional fertilisers that were depleting soil health and harming crop productivity. Determined to create a sustainable alternative, Vineet and his team worked tirelessly to develop groundbreaking solutions.
Recognising that traditional fertilisers were causing long-term damage to soil quality, Vineet focused on developing products that would restore soil health while increasing yields. His vision was not only to introduce a better fertiliser but also to educate and empower farmers about the importance of nutrient-balanced farming.
Ziron – The Game-Changing Fertilizer
Vineet’s breakthrough came with Ziron, a revolutionary multi-nutrient fertiliser. Unlike traditional fertilisers, Ziron is enriched with zinc, boron, sulfur, calcium, and magnesium, restoring soil vitality and enhancing crop nutrition.
This innovative formula helps crops absorb nutrients more effectively, leading to improved growth and higher-quality yields. By focusing on micronutrient enhancement, Ziron ensures that soil degradation is minimised and long-term fertility is maintained.
But Ziron’s impact goes beyond farming. By improving nutrient absorption, it benefits livestock and human health, addressing hidden nutritional deficiencies. As Vineet shared in an exclusive Startup Pedia interview, "Our approach strengthens not just the soil but the entire food system."
Eco-Friendly Innovation at Its Core

With an initial investment of Rs. 25 crores, Vineet established a cutting-edge fertilizer plant in Dhule, Maharashtra—a model of sustainability:
- Zero waste & 100% water recycling
- 8000 trees surrounding the facility
- Zero gas emissions
- 100% eco-friendly production
"Many doubt that industries can be environmentally friendly, but I believe sustainability and progress can co-exist," Vineet remarked in his interview.
Beyond just creating a product, Vineet’s eco-conscious vision ensures that the entire manufacturing process is sustainable. His approach proves that large-scale agricultural innovation can be achieved without harming the environment.
RMPCL recently grabbed the best technical innovation award for technical changes in the plant, making it a self-sustainable manufacturing unit.
Transforming Farmers’ Lives
Ziron is changing the game for Indian farmers, not only improving soil health but also saving them money.
"By using Ziron, farmers save Rs. 1,500 per acre—translating to Rs. 30,000 per year on a 10-acre farm," Vineet explains.
Farmers who pair Ziron with Urea have seen crop production more than double. The results speak for themselves, with over 3 lakh farmers now part of the R.M. Phosphates community. With demand soaring, the company handles 1,000+ farmer inquiries daily.
By directly engaging with farmers and providing them with the right knowledge, Vineet has built a loyal community that trusts R.M. Phosphates to deliver solutions that genuinely improve their livelihoods. The company has gone beyond being just a supplier—it has become a trusted partner in India's agricultural transformation.
Expanding into Cattle Nutrition with Nutriherd

Taking his mission a step further, Vineet introduced Nutriherd, a fortified multi-nutrient cattle feed. This innovation enhances livestock health, improves milk quality, and further strengthens rural economies.
Recognising that livestock nutrition is directly linked to human health, Vineet saw an opportunity to bridge the gap in cattle nutrition by creating a product that ensures better-quality milk and healthier cattle. This step aligns with his broader vision of improving nutrition across all levels of the food supply chain.
