QuicReach
Tired of paying ₹1,000–₹1,500 for a 40 km airport cab ride, struggling with uncomfortable long-distance buses, or enduring long waits, frequent cancellations, and price surges for airport travel?
Meet QuicReach, the app that’s quietly transforming how Indians travel between cities and airports.
Designed for travellers who seek both affordability and comfort, QuicReach lets you book a shared cab for airports and intercity routes. With smart ride matching, fixed-time slots, and zero last-minute uncertainty, QuicReach isn’t just another cab service — it’s an intelligent travel companion.
“Already trusted by 40,000+ users across Bengaluru, this made-in-India solution has completed 20,000+ rides, brought on 3,000+ drivers, and crossed ₹1.2 crore in revenue—all in its very first year,” said Shubham Jain, the founder of QuicReach cab aggregator startup in an exclusive interview with Startup Pedia.
The QuicReach Experience: Built Around the Everyday Indian Traveller
For lakhs of people living in metro cities like Bengaluru, long-distance travel is a routine necessity — whether it’s catching flights, visiting family in nearby towns, or heading home for the holidays.
But until now, the options have either been expensive solo cabs or budget buses that compromise on comfort and lack last-mile connectivity.
The Bangalore-based cab aggregator offers a balanced alternative:
-
Shared cabs with a maximum of 3 passengers
-
Pre-scheduled slots for predictability
-
Zero-hassle ride-matching through the app
-
Fair, transparent, and surge-free pricing
-
Automatic route optimization to avoid unnecessary detours
The QuicReach founder said, “Users don’t have to hunt for co-passengers. The app’s intelligent backend handles all allocations, ensuring comfort, timeliness, and peace of mind,” in the Startup Pedia interview.
A new “Last-Minute Seat Filler” feature is in the works, allowing unsold seats to be booked at discounted rates — boosting affordability while improving occupancy.
From a Personal Pain Point to a Platform with Purpose
The story of QuicReach began not with a pitch deck, but with a problem. The app became fully operational from Feb 2024, when one too many frustrating, overpriced cab rides led to a simple idea: What if travellers could share the cost of long journeys without compromising on quality or convenience?
Started fully bootstrapped since its inception by Bangalore-based entrepreneur Shubham Jain, the first version of the app was built in under six months. But like any early-stage start-up, the beginning was tough.
QuicReach initially struggled with low occupancy — cabs were running with only one rider, leading to 20–30% losses per trip. But the team pivoted quickly, moving from on-demand bookings to a slot-based model. That single shift improved occupancy from 1.1 to 1.79 per ride.
“Since then, traction has accelerated organically — without paid marketing or driver acquisition costs. Even without a full-time office, a lean team of 5–6 working remotely has powered consistent monthly growth, with revenue climbing from ₹2 lakh to ₹10 lakh per month,” said the founder of QuicReach.
Not Just a Ride, But a Win-Win Ecosystem for Drivers Too
QuicReach isn’t just reshaping travel for passengers — it’s doing the same for drivers. Unlike traditional aggregator platforms that slice away earnings through high commissions, QuicReach ensures fairer payouts.
A trip that typically earns a driver ₹700–800 on other platforms can earn ₹1,100–1,200 through QuicReach’s shared model — boosting earnings by up to 40%.
Thanks to the shared model, passengers pay less for long trips, drivers earn more than a regular ride because of more co-passengers, and with fewer cabs needed on the road, QuicReach also helps cut down fuel use and CO₂ emissions — thereby making it a win-win for people, partners, and the planet.
The app has also earned drivers’ trust by reducing the need for cancellations. Even single-passenger rides are compensated fairly, which has helped maintain a 1.5% cancellation rate, drastically lower than industry norms (~20%).
“This positive feedback loop has led to 3,000 drivers joining organically, without any onboarding incentives or marketing expenses,” told the Bengaluru based entrepreneur Startup Pedia.
Where It’s Headed: From Bengaluru to Bharat
QuicReach began its journey in Bengaluru, a city that not only embraced the idea of shared travel early but also offered the right blend of tech-savvy users and daily travel needs. As the gateway to South India, Bengaluru continues to be at the heart of our operations and vision.
The founder of QuicReach said, “Our next step is to deepen our presence across Karnataka, building efficient travel corridors between tier-2 and tier-3 cities like Mysuru, Mangalore, Hubballi, and others before expanding further into the southern region.”
Eventually, QuicReach is looking to replicate its success in other high-demand zones. Hyderabad, with its high airport commute costs, is next in line. Soon after, Jewar Airport in Uttar Pradesh — set to be India’s largest — offers a strategic corridor between Noida and Agra, where shared, fixed-slot intercity rides can make a real difference.
This expansion is not just geographic — it’s structural. With technology upgrades, deeper integration of predictive ride-matching, and an ever-growing pool of loyal users and drivers, QuicReach is positioning itself as India’s leading long-distance-focused shared mobility platform.
“At QuicReach, we’re spearheading a mission to connect the people of Bharat — Tier 3 and Tier 2 India — to Tier 1 New Age India, and vice versa, by making intercity travel not just affordable and convenient, but truly accessible and empowering,” said Shubham Jain in the Startup Pedia interview.
