Zomato users respond to the announcement
A person commented, “That’s nice. Considering trains usually run late, how does Zomato manage with this?
Say, I order something thinking that the train will reach at station X at 1pm, but it reaches at 3pm. Does the delivery agent wait that long?”
Someone else remarked, “Cash on delivery option should be available for train orders as there might be many cases in which Zomato is unable to deliver the order like train is late, delivery boy unable to find the coach, delivery boy/restaurant becomes late, etc..”
Another person wrote, “Train journeys just got a lot tastier! Zomato’s delivers food directly to your coach.
This is a must-try. 10 lakh orders down, and I’ll definitely be adding to that on my next trip!”
The delivery has started
Already with the announcement the brand has dispatched over 10 lakh orders on trains. This proves the popularity of Zomato and the demand for convenient food delivery options on long-distance train journeys.
How to place an order on the train?
