Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal has shared the company's Q2FY25 Report on social media requesting shareholders to email at the given address if they have any queries or suggestions.
In this day and age, bigshot brands and founders are coming closer to the public through social media. The intention could be to maintain a people-friendly image. A big reason is also that it is difficult to do good business without reaching out to the general public and staying rooted.
In a series of tweets, Goyal shared the company’s profits, intentions, objectives, plans, and some announcements related to store and app launches.

In the second one, he mentioned: “Our consolidated Adjusted EBITDA increased by INR 289 crore YoY to INR 330 crore in Q2FY25.
This was driven by food delivery margins continuing to improve and quick commerce margins staying near break-even despite the rapid store network expansion.”
In the third tweet, he disclosed: “Sustained topline growth momentum with 58% YoY Adjusted Revenue Growth, above the stated outlook of 40% YoY growth.
Across our B2C businesses, the YoY growth in GOV stood at 21%, 122%, and 171% for the food delivery (@zomato), quick commerce (@letsblinkit), and going-out verticals, respectively.”
In the fourth one, he wrote: “In the last quarter (Q2FY25), we added 152 net new stores and seven warehouses.”
Next, he tweeted: “Our new app for the going-out vertical should be live in the next four weeks.”
Finally, he concluded with: “That’s all for now. However, as always, we are just 1% done.
We’re excited about the path we’re on and grateful for your continued support.”
