2 "superpower" skills for becoming an entrepreneur
The first skill he revealed is the ability to sell.
“Not just products,” he said. “But your vision, your dream, your crazy ideas.”
Mittal insisted that one should have the convincing power so that people join them.
“Convince investors to fund you. Convince customers to try you
…and sometimes, convince yourself to keep going,” the Shaadi.com boss remarked.
“If you can’t sell, it’s going to be a long and lonely ride,” Mittal urged. “So get out there — pitch, persuade, hustle, repeat. Sales isn’t sleazy. It’s survival.”
The second skill he referred to is the ability to sell.
He said it doesn’t just mean writing code.
“It means being obsessed with solving a problem, “Mittal disclosed. “It means focusing on one thing for a long time…while everyone around you thinks you’ve lost it.”
He further said that people can misunderstand, but you should have the ability to persist even when nothing makes sense.

Mastering the 2 skills
So, what happens if someone masters both these skills?
“You become unbeatable,” claimed Anupam Mittal. “And, this isn’t just about being a founder,” the Shark Tank India judge added, mentioning these as life skills, not job titles.
For professionals, these two basic skills can unlock every door, “whether you’re in a startup, a corporate job, or building your own side hustle,” he said.
Finally, he said that there is no “right time” for learning, selling or building.
Start now, Mittal encouraged and “the rest will follow”.
