Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Namo Hospital, a 460-crore facility state-of-the-art healthcare institution, designed to provide advanced medical services in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

Along with the 450-bed hospital, the Prime Minister also launched multiple public welfare projects worth over 2,500 crores in the region, including schools, hospitals, and critical infrastructure initiatives to promote public services and healthcare accessibility.

What is Misso?

Misso, India’s first indigenously developed AI-powered surgical robot for knee replacement surgery was presented in front of PM Modi by Meril’s CEO, Mr Vivek Shah.

Misso’s cutting-edge technology is aimed at revolutionising orthopaedic surgeries in the country, offering greater precision and improved outcomes for patients.

Misso represents a proud milestone in India’s journey towards self-reliance in advanced medical technology," said Mr. Vivek Shah, CEO, of Meril.

Meril Life Sciences is a prominent player in global medical device manufacturing.

Reviewing the 3D model of the upcoming hospital, PM Modi appreciated its modern medical infrastructure.
