Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently addressed the 18th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business 2024, appealing to foreign investors to join India's 'Make in India' initiative and 'Make for the World'. This conference held in New Delhi, served as a platform for developing stronger economic ties between India and Germany, focusing on investment opportunities and collaborations.

India - An Ideal Investment Destination

During his address, PM Modi upheld India as the ideal destination for foreign investors, emphasizing the country's rapid economic growth and numerous business opportunities. He stated that there is no better time than now to invest in India, as the nation is on a path towards becoming a global trade and manufacturing hub. The Prime Minister stated the pillars on which India's growth stands, including democracy, demography, demand, and data.

Strengthening Indo-German Relations

PM Modi also acknowledged the confidence that Germany has shown in India's skilled workforce by increasing visas for Indian workers. This move will not only benefit Indian professionals but also strengthen the ties between the two nations.

Addressing German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Modi said, “We want you to be part of the India growth story.”

The Prime Minister invited German businesses to take advantage of India's skilled manpower and participate in the country's growth trajectory.
