Digital payments leader PhonePe is upping its e-commerce game by rolling out a 24-hour online medicine delivery service in just 10 minutes in Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru.
About the new 10-minute medicine delivery
The app will partner with neighbourhood medical shops, facilitating expedited deliveries without relying on centralised dark stores.
Customers can now place round-the-clock orders for both over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medicines and receive delivery through this app.
Launched in 2023, PhonePe’s PINCODE is a hyperlocal shopping app that allows users to order groceries, food, and other items from local stores in their area.
Now partnering with neighbourhood medical shops, it is going to provide super quick deliveries by providing digital reach to local businesses.

Accessible medicine supply from PhonePe’s PINCODE
According to the company, the platform’s super accessibility is its USP.
Customers who don’t have a prescription will also be allowed to place an order through the app by opting for a ‘no prescription’ checkout.
A certified doctor will follow up with a free teleconsultation in such cases and, if necessary, will issue a digital prescription following India’s telemedicine regulations.
This option makes the service both user-friendly and legally compliant.
Incidentally, the app’s offering includes over-the-counter medications, chronic condition treatments, as well as emergency supplies.
Nearby partner chemists will handle the deliveries, making it quick while keeping the pricing competitive.
For now, the app is charging no added delivery fees, and discounts are passed on directly from stores.
