Despite Apple joining the list of top 5 phone brands in India, the company seems to be receiving some flak for gaps in innovation and essentially releasing models with minor modifications and changes.

Recently, Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg had also taken a dig at Apple and said, “Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone, and now they’re just sitting on it 20 years later,”

Now it seems like even Paytm’s co-founder and CEO, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, is not happy with the iPhone 16’s camera performance.

He took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share his disappointment.

Vijay Shekhar Sharma wrote, “I am surprised how the iPhone killed its camera (software/app) so badly in 16. It is so bad that I am seriously thinking of a Pixel now.”

Adding to this, he asked people, “Anyone else going through the same struggles?”

It should be noted here that Google Pixel is the rival company of Apple.

NETIZENS ECHO SHARMA’S THOUGHTS

Numerous people agreed with the Paytm CEO’s take on the iPhone 16 camera.

Parminder Singh (a former Google executive) replied in the comments, “Similar experience. Something’s seriously wrong with either the camera or the app.”

Another user by the name of Sahil Grover affirmed Shekhar’s experience and stated that he has been a Pixel customer for a long time, but after switching to the iPhone, he wants to “go back.”

His comment read, “Yes, sir. I’ve used all pixels, recently got an iPhone - can’t wait to go back. Pixel 9 is fast and with that camera - it’s different. Go for it.”

Another X user Adithya Thatipalli wrote, “iPhone 6 as the last iPhone with innovation. Later ones are more glamourous with technical features. Now the last 3 versions are just replicas.”

APPLE’S iPHONE AND HEAT MANAGEMENT

Meanwhile Apple is gearing for the launch of the iPhone 17 series. According to Moneycontrol, it is slated to be launched in September 2025.

The iPhone 17, reportedly, will have a new hardware that is tailored to especially manage heat dissipation.

A Fast Technology report from mydrivers.com had quoted, “Apple will add heat sinks to the iPhone 17 series and all models will be equipped with VC [Vapor Chamber] uniform heat plate dissipation.”

Earlier in 2023, when the iPhone 15 was released, some users had complained about overheating issues.

According to the tech giant, a bug had caused the heat issues. This was later sorted after the software was fixed.
