Bhavish Aggarwal’s Ola Consumer has entered the 10-minute food delivery market in select areas of Bengaluru through the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) network. For now, the service is available via the Ola Cabs app’s food delivery section in selected areas of the tech city.
Ola's new plan
However, Ola plans a nationwide rollout shortly awaiting the pilot results. The company has already started offering food and beverage (F&B) services through ONDC in limited cities, alongside grocery and medicine supply delivery.
Ola Dash is part of Ola's food delivery wing launched via ONDC in June this year. It is already live in various locations of Bengaluru under the food delivery section of the main app.
According to sources, the full-scale launch of the 10-minute food deliveries is expected in the coming weeks. The Ola CEO even shared about the launch on X.
Yep, taking our @Olacabs commitment to @ONDC_Official to the next level! Scaling food and other categories across India today. Including 10min food.

Earlier today, leading food delivery startup, magicpin announced the launch of magicNOW to offer food delivery in 15 minutes joining the quick commerce race.
Zomato already launched its new app Bistro under its quick commerce wing, Blinkit to deliver food in 10 minutes. On the other hand, Zepto is expanding its Zepto Cafe chain nationwide for 10-minute food delivery, while Swiggy launched Swiggy Bolt and Cafe.
ONDC CEO Thampy Koshy said on Tuesday that Ola ranks among the top two platforms in the network’s F&B segment.
Recently rebranded as Ola Consumer, the company turned into a public limited company last month, indicating potential IPO plans.
