An automatic Rubik's Cube solver was developed by Mafizur Alam, a student at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM) in Jaipur.
The solving is accomplished using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
It takes the average person about three hours to solve a Rubik's cube for the first time, but the automatic Rubik’s Cube solver does it in mere seconds.
Why is the Rubik’s cube tough to solve?
The Rubik's cube is difficult to solve because it can be twisted into many different positions, but only one position is solved.
So, how many positions can a 3x3x3 Rubik's cube be twisted into? It turns out the answer is more than 43 quintillion.
