Mamaearth’s Ghazal Alagh is caught up in another controversy.
Recently, an X user posted a picture of Mamaearth's Vitamin C and Uptan facewash, advising followers to throw them "in the dustbin."
If you see these products anywhere, immediately pick them up, throw them in the dustbin, and run away. 🤌 pic.twitter.com/TA9f0qCCoM

Ghazal Alagh's Response:
Mamaearth co-founder Ghazal Alagh responded to the criticism. She assured that Mamaearth's products come with her guarantee and invited customers to share their concerns on social media.
Hey @Sassy_Soul_ Just sorry you woke up with a lot of hate. I hope you feel better soon. I would have loved to address if there was a problem. But I couldn’t find any apart from you hopping onto a Twitter trend and finding a picture of the products.

Quality on @mamaearthindia…
User’s Concerns:
In another tweet, the X user Aditi detailed her issues.
"My family, friends, and I have used your products, and none worked effectively. We've wasted our money. Your products don't work at all. You can't handle honest reviews and asked which products I had issues with. I want to tell you all your products are terrible and should be changed": she wrote on X.
Reaction:
Alagh is facing pushback from users on X for Mamaearth’s lavish spending on marketing rather than on improving their products’ quality.
One user wrote: “I thought mama Earth was making a good product. Almost every famous YouTuber was promoting it.”
Another user wrote:”Lol mamaeath spends 42% of its sales just for promotions and advertising🫠”
