At the Sharjah UAE Investment Forum 2024 the co-founder of India’s leading electronics brand boAt Lifestyle and popular Shark Tank India judge, Aman Gupta shared his entrepreneurial journey, insights, and the pivotal moments that have shaped his successful career.

Shark's interview

When asked how a usual day starts for him, the business icon said he does not like the sound of alarms and so gets up when he feels like it. After that, he goes straight to the office and puts in his best efforts because he believes in working hard. In the evenings, he plays his favorite sport, padel, and spends quality time with his family. Again, he goes to bed when he feels like it.

“I live my life every day,” the star entrepreneur remarked. “If I have work I work 18 hours a day. I never thought I would be a Shark. I never thought my company would do so well. I never imagined I would be where I am today. I think God has been kind, consumers have been kinder.”

The Sharjah Investment Forum

The Sharjah Investment Forum is one of the leading investment conference and exhibition events in the MENA region held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed AlQasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. The annual flagship event of the Sharjah FDI Office is the foreign direct investment promotion arm of the Government.

About the Forum, Gupta commented that it is a nice event to network, to meet fellow entrepreneurs and also upcoming ones.

When asked about sharing some advice for budding entrepreneurs who want to make it big as the Shark Tank India judge, Aman Gupta said, “Keep working hard. Don’t blame your luck if your venture is not doing well. Trust in life’s timing. Keep trusting God.”

“I was not lucky the first time, the second, third, fourth, or even the fifth time. 90% of my success has come from hard work. I believe in hard work and trusting in God’s timing,” he finished off.
