Gwalior's Class 12 student, Medhansh Trivedi builds human-carrying drone
Medhansh Trivedi, a student innovator from Gwalior has developed a human-carrying drone that is setting new standards in the field of drone technology. Inspired by Chinese technology, the Class 12 student at Scindia School has built this impressive drone.
Driven by a relentless passion for exploration and innovation, Medhansh dedicated three months of hard work and dedication to bringing his vision to life. His ambitious project is named "MLDT 01."
The MLDT 01 Drone
The MLDT 01 drone is claimed to transport a person weighing up to 80 kilograms soaring through the skies at a speed of 60 kilometers per hour. The drone's design which features a length and width of 1.8 meters portrays Medhansh's meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Acknowledging Support and Motivation
Despite the immense challenges he faced along the way, Medhansh kept pursuing his dream project. He attributes much of his success to the support and guidance of his teacher, Manoj Mishra. With technical expertise and invaluable motivation, Mr. Mishra played a crucial role in the project's success.
Medhansh told ETV Bharat, "I got the inspiration to make this drone after seeing the drones of China. My teacher Manoj Mishra has helped me a lot technically along with motivation to develop the drone."
Future Prospects and Aspirations
Medhansh envisions a future where drones play a pivotal role in everyday life. His plans include upgrading the MLDT 01 drone to a hybrid model that will be more versatile and practical for a variety of applications. With a focus on making drones accessible and affordable to the masses, Medhansh aims to reform industries such as transportation, agriculture, and logistics.
Additionally, he dreams of building an air taxi company and developing affordable helicopter solutions for the general public.

Prominent figures such as Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and ISRO Chief S Somanath have lauded the school boy’s groundbreaking innovation during the foundation day celebrations of Scindia School.
