Passion or Subservience?

Many employers work late nights to meet deadlines, prepare for presentations, and tackle their to-do lists. Being passionate about work can become a part of their identity. However, this dedication can sometimes be mistaken for Stockholm syndrome, a condition that makes the employee subservient to the boss' commands.

Social Media Reaction:

With 4 million views on the social media platform, the post has gone viral. Online users resonated with the employer's situation while some found it humorous.

A user humorously commented, “This is great. The quicker you realize the most important thing in life is delivering shareholder value, the quicker you’ll get ahead!”

Another user replied, “My body is a machine that turns anxiety into B2B SaaS.”

A third user sarcastically commented, “Damn, this guy knows the script. I’m guessing he’s got 14 jobs and a team of 8 delivering the work.”

A fourth user wrote, “He was not able to say it

So I’ll say it

“I love my work, you love your work as well and pay me more. Thanks for the concern though”"
