About robot Moya

Moya is the world’s first fully biomimetic embodied intelligent robot. It is built around the idea of embodied artificial intelligence systems that can perceive, reason, and act within the physical world rather than operating purely in digital environments.

Robot Moya is 5.5 feet tall and weighs 32 kg. It is designed with proportions close to those of an adult human, and even maintains a body temperature around 32-36°C, enhancing its lifelike presence.

The humanoid robot’s walking posture has an accuracy of 92 per cent, with stable, natural locomotion.

Moya arrives at a time when humanoid robots are being produced in various styles worldwide. Most have a robotic look, far from human likeness and are mostly used for mechanical or factory purposes. DroidUp brings ultra-realistic designs to its robot to stay ahead in the race.

The company sees its new arrival as suitable for healthcare, education, and commercial spots needing real interaction, not just domestic uses or heavy labour.

The market launch is expected in late 2026 at around a ¥1.2 million starting price, per SCMP video figures, though final details are pending.

The company claims Moya has a warm, friendly behaviour for elder care and companionship.
