Little drivers test out the Mahindra BE 6 ride-on SUVs at the Scream Electric event; Anand Mahindra says it is “your kid’s first sports car”

Mahindra has introduced a kid-sized electric Ride-On model based on the BE 6 Formula E Edition SUV. 

The small car keeps the sporty look and bright colours of the full-size version and is built for toddlers who enjoy fun electric toys.

Mahindra BE 6 Ride-On for Kids

The BE 6 Formula E Edition Ride-On is shaped like a small version of the main BE 6 SUV. It uses the same strong lines, bright colours and race-style graphics. 

Mahindra says it is meant to give “young children a fun start with electric mobility” and bring the Formula E theme into a simple toy.

The mini car includes front and rear LED lights, working doors, a seat belt and a single-seat layout. Kids can drive it using the pedal system while parents can use a remote controller when needed. A Bluetooth audio feature is also included so children can listen to music during the ride.

Mahindra also shared a short note online saying the Ride-On is “a fun way to share Formula E energy with kids”, pointing out that the colours and design stay true to the original SUV.\

And Chairman Anand Mahindra thinks it could be “your kids first sports car”.

BE 6 Formula E Ride-On - Price, availability and why families may be interested

Mahindra has priced the Ride-On at ₹18,000. It will be available in India from April 2026. The model was shown to the public during the “Scream Electric” event where the full-size BE 6 Formula E Edition SUV was also presented.

For parents, this Ride-On can be a simple and enjoyable choice. It offers safe features, smooth electric movement and a look that feels close to a real car without being complex or risky. Since interest in electric vehicles continues to grow in Indian homes, this Ride-On gives children a friendly way to engage with the idea through play.
