More on the new data centres
The new data centres will house solutions from Zoho Corporation’s two leading brands – Zoho, which provides cloud-based business software, and ManageEngine, which is the enterprise IT management platform.
The initiative is intended to enhance data sovereignty, support the UAE National Cybersecurity Agenda, and enhance digital transformation in both the public and private sectors.
What Zoho CEO said
“The opening of our data centres is part of our ongoing investment in the UAE, which remains one of the largest markets in the region for both ManageEngine and Zoho brands,” said Shailesh Davey, Co-founder and CEO, Zoho Corporation.
He also added, “With this move, Zoho Corporation will be enabling businesses store their data locally, strengthening data sovereignty, and supporting National Cybersecurity Agenda. Furthermore, 100+ solutions across Zoho and Manage Engine, will enable businesses of all sizes, and government and semi-government organisations adopt cloud technology for digital transformation in nearly every area of operation, and help Dubai become a digital economy line with Dubai Vision 2030.”
Data Centre Specifications
The data centres have been awarded the CSP Security Standard Certificate by DESC, qualifying Zoho to serve government and semi-government organisations in addition to private enterprises. The facilities are compliant with ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 27017, and CSA STAR Level 2 certifications. ISO 27001 certification has been separately accorded to Zoho's Dubai office, further underscoring the company's emphasis on information security and operational resilience.
In the past year, Zoho has seen great growth in its business across the UAE. In 2025, revenue increased 38.7 per cent year on year; its network of partners expanded by 29 per cent while local headcount increased by 35 per cent to support growing demand for the company's products.
Zoho’s Middle-East CEO remarks
Hyther Nizam, President of Zoho MEA, said the company plans to continue expanding its workforce in the country.
“Last year, we grew by 30 per cent in terms of our workforce. And now that we are launching data centers, we will be ramping up our data center operations team also, which is a NOC team. Some of the compliance also mandates in our local people, so we will be supporting that as well,” he said.
