He went on explaining that execution and action matter more than “original” ideas in the journey to build scalable companies.

All In Capital's Aditya Singh says “copying startup ideas is not bad"

“Pehle tum karo to sahi,” he said, claiming the best founders start building even when the path is not fully clear, adding that action and execution often win over perfectionist planning.

Singh mentioned Minimalist, a Jaipur‑born beauty brand that grew into a ₹2,995 crore valuation by adapting global product insights and executing with focus, rather than obsessing over creating an entirely novel concept.

By borrowing proven formulations and localising them effectively, an approach Singh calls “inspiration” rather than “copying”, Minimalist achieved rapid scale and consumer trust.

Similarly, brands like Neeman have built loyal customer bases by refining existing market concepts with strong product quality and comfort, proving execution can outweigh novelty.

Founders responded to Singh’s philosophy. One startup founder commented on Singh’s posts that “execution and building real user value matter far more than the idea’s unique packaging”.

Another noted Singh’s emphasis on networking and early market testing as vital to traction.

All In Capital itself has built a reputation around this mindset, investing in over 150 startups and supporting founders through community, capital and narrative construction, demonstrating that idea execution, community support and founder resilience are key pillars of startup success.
