Apparently, the withdrawal of offers is a part of cost-cutting measures undertaken by its CEO, Elon Musk.

Several aspiring employees took to LinkedIn to express anguish at not being left with enough time to find replacement gigs for the summer.

One student at Miami University of the USA wrote:

"At 8:46 am, I opened a Tesla email for flight info. By 11:25 am, my internship offer was gone,". He also said his start date was three weeks away and that he had already spent "thousands on housing."

Pravaig To The Rescue:

Luckily in India, Pravaig has offered help.

"At Pravaig Dynamics, we understand the importance of feeling valued and supported in your career pursuits. That's why we want to extend a genuine invitation to those affected by this unfortunate situation,"

Shivangi Bagri, Partner at Pravaig, wrote on her LinkedIn page.

Bagri is responsible for HR at a startup that produces electric SUVs and high-precision batteries for EVs.

According to Bagri, the appointment letter from Tesla is sufficient evidence of an individual's skills, experience, and potential, which does not disappear when the offer is revoked.

"If you find yourself in limbo, unsure of what the future holds and have a genuine offer letter from Tesla, we'd be happy to have a chat with you to see how you could fit in at Pravaig."

Supportive Job Environment

She adds that although the opportunity is not as massive as Tesla's but promises a conducive environment.

"While we may not be able to replicate the exact opportunity you had envisioned with Tesla, we can promise a supportive environment where your talents are recognized and appreciated should you choose to move to the Silicon Valley of India and work at Pravaig," she wrote.

Tesla is cutting 10% of its team globally, including the marketing and Supercharger network staff, to save money.

Bagri also wrote about the rising unemployment in India.

"I can only imagine the disappointment, frustration, and uncertainty this turn of events must have caused for those individuals and their families. Transitioning to a new role, especially with an exciting company like Tesla, is an endeavour that requires both emotional and logistical preparation. To have that excitement abruptly halted is undoubtedly a tough pill to swallow," she said.
