Indulge Global Premiers On Shark Tank India
On the premiere episode of Shark Tank India Season 4, a Goa startup grabbed everyone’s attention.
The founders claimed that their luxury concierge service outperformed Executive Assistants typically employed by ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth individuals.
But how, exactly?
A personal touch blended with efficiency.
Founded in 2022, Indulge Global is a luxury concierge startup that assists ultra-high-net-worth individuals in enjoying life's luxuries in a hassle-free and time-saving manner. It assists them in living the lifestyle they want, free from the frictions of delays, limited options, and narrow accessibility.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Karan Bhangay was pursuing engineering at the Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College when he realized that it wasn’t his long-term calling.
He dropped out of college in his fourth year and started a luxury products magazine from scratch. Initially, Karan’s magazine took off but it had to be shut down after digital platforms gained more prominence.
By then, Karan had developed a passion for the luxury industry. He started organizing exhibitions for luxury products and even scaled his company to a team size of 40 employees. But the onset of COVID-19 affected the business.
During this time, a lot of clients began making special requests and specific services. For instance, someone wanted a luxury bag delivered in 5 days.
Karan Bhangay foresaw that luxury concierge services would become the next big thing. He decided to set up Indulge Global in 2022.
He met Advita Bihani on LinkedIn, where she was highly active.
With Advita’s zeal and Karan’s deep-rooted experience in the luxury industry, the luxury concierge startup started with the unwavering mission to serve UHNIs and HNIs, bringing their dream lifestyle to them seamlessly.
INDULGE GLOBAL: A TASTE OF LUXURY
Speaking to Startup Pedia in an exclusive interview, Advita Bihani said, “At Indulge Global, our aim is to bring real luxury to people who want it. From getting flowers delivered to the UK to providing rare art and luxury villas, we do everything. It's all listed on our one-of-its-kind app.”
As a luxury concierge startup, Indulge Global is a WhatsApp-first company that maintains a speedy, efficient line of communication with all its clients.
The startup offers a personal touch by maintaining a database of its clients’ preferences, including birthdays, spouse’s birthdays, favourite brands, and bucket lists.
Indulge Global leverages Artificial Intelligence and blends it with human creativity to deliver tailored experiences to its clients.
The startup has established partnerships with luxury brands like Hermes, Rolex, Wimbledon, FIFA, and Gucci. It also collaborates with exclusive international events, museums, and concerts.
These tie-ups make it possible for the startup to deliver products, services, and experiences to its clients in a timely manner.
SHARK TANK INDIA SEASON 4 PREMEIRE
Karan Bhangay and Advita Bihani recently appeared in the premiere episode of Shark Tank India Season 4 where they stunned the sharks by telling them about the speed, ease, and efficiency that Indulge Global provides to its customers.
In the episode, Advita mentioned that the startup once got a special request for a Diet Coke in the Himalayas. They delivered it within time for Rs 4,000. The startup has also helped ultra-rich people get air ambulances in times of medical emergencies.
The founders also told the Sharks that the luxury concierge startup’s team takes care of their clients’ birthdays and anniversaries and provides them a curated list of experiences that they can enjoy on their special occasions.
Advita Bihani said that this is made possible through the form they ask their clients to fill when they’re signing up for the concierge service.
JUST LIKE BLINKIT FOR MILLIONAIRES
Indulge Global has built a unique app that acts like a wish-granting genie for its customers.
Available on the Android Play Store and the Apple App Store, it provides customers with access to global events, private jets, luxury bags, clothes, and exclusive art. Not just this, the app also gives clients a personal calendar featuring their special days and how they can be celebrated.
Startup Pedia explored the Indulge Concierge app and found an intricate Lord Ganesha art form listed for a whopping Rs 4,50,000. The app also featured an F45 Princess yacht marked as ‘Price on Request.’ A bunch of flowers are also listed for a price of Rs 70,000.
In her conversation with Startup Pedia, Advita Bihani said, “We are building something that caters to just 0.1% of the country’s population. Even so, this market is scalable and requires solutions that provide UHNIs with access to luxury products and services at any time, or any day of the year. Indulge Global is addressing exactly this.”
With 1,000+ clients, Indulge Global has garnered notable clients like Mouni Roy, Nikhil Kamath, Anshula Kapoor, Krystle D'souza, Kunal Shah, and Sujeet Kumar.
