YOGEE Beauty & Wellness Founders - Dr. Yogessh & Neha Suraadkaar
Some life-changing decisions aren’t planned; they come from the most unexpected and painful moments. For Dr. Yogessh and Neha Suraadkaar, the founders of YOGEE Beauty & Wellness, that moment arrived when cancer struck their family, not once but twice.
With over two decades of experience in the global beauty industry, Dr. Yogessh had a flourishing corporate career. He held senior leadership roles and was on the path to an international posting. Meanwhile, Neha, a highly accomplished Style Coach™ and fashion, makeup, and beauty educator, had spent 16+ years shaping the future of the beauty and wellness space.
But their world changed when Dr. Yogessh’s mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer with metastasis to the brain, and his father-in-law was diagnosed with urinary bladder cancer.
In an exclusive interview with Startup Pedia, the co-founder said, “I had a high-paying corporate job as a VP, an offer to move to Paris, and a stable future. But when my mother and father-in-law were suffering from terminal cancer, I knew I had to make a choice - career or family. For me, the decision was clear. Parents are irreplaceable, but careers can be rebuilt.”
This life-altering experience made Dr. Yogessh and Neha question everything, including the hidden toxins in everyday beauty and wellness products.
"We saw our loved ones battle severe illnesses, and it forced us to look deeper into the products we were using daily. The more we researched, the more we realized how common synthetic chemicals, carcinogens, hormone disruptors, and virgin plastic packaging are in personal care and wellness products. We knew we had to change that," mentioned the Mumbai-based entrepreneur during his conversation with Startup Pedia.

What Makes YOGEE Different?
Unlike conventional brands that rely on single ingredient hype, YOGEE focuses on multifunctional, results-driven formulations powered by:
- BioAyurPro Fusion Technology: A patent-filed innovation that merges ancient Ayurvedic wisdom, plant-based biotechnology, and microbiomics (prebiotics & probiotics).

“We wanted to create pure, powerful, and purposeful formulations; products that don’t just promise results but actually deliver without harming people or the planet,” said the co-founder of the Mumbai-based organic beauty brand.
Supporting Farmers, Women, and Ethical Sourcing
Beyond clean formulations, YOGEE is deeply committed to social responsibility.
Partnering with Farmers: Supporting local communities with fair wages and sustainable farming practices.
Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: Uplifting women by providing employment and skill training.
“Our mission goes beyond beauty - we want to create an ecosystem of sustainability where every product we make also uplifts the people behind it." added the Mumbai-based entrepreneur during his interview.

From Bootstrapped Beginnings to a Thriving Business
What started as a self-funded venture quickly gained momentum - purely through organic marketing, word-of-mouth, and product efficacy.
YOGEE Beauty & Wellness opened it's first Exclusive Beauty Outlet (EBO) in Delhi's Karol Bagh area in June 2024. The brand is also listed on major e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, JioMart, Nykaa, & Tata 1MG.
The Mumbai-based sustainable beauty and wellness luxury brand witnessed remarkable revenue growth, starting at Rs 50,000 per month and soaring to Rs 5 lakh per month within a year. Capitalizing on this momentum, the brand's current revenue stands at Rs 8 lakh per month.
The Future of YOGEE: A ₹100 Crore Vision
With 50% of sales coming from D2C channels, 35% from marketplaces, and 15% from salons & pop-ups, the Mumbai-based organic beauty brand is on track to become a ₹100 crore brand in the next five years.
Expanding Globally:
Strengthening D2C presence in the USA & Canada. Entering UAE & European markets where demand for clean beauty is booming.
Growing Across India:
Increasing availability in premium beauty stores, salons, and luxury retailers.
“For us, success isn’t just about numbers. It’s about creating a legacy of conscious beauty, where people choose purity over chemicals, sustainability over convenience, and ethics over profit,” added the co-founder in his conversation with Startup Pedia.
