Travel-tech startup Holiday Tribe has recently secured INR 5.4 crores ($650,000) in seed funding from Powerhouse Ventures and GSF.
This investment round was led by prominent investors including Dinesh Agarwal and Dinesh Gulati of India Mart, Murugavel Janakiraman of BharatMatrimony.com, and actor Gaurav Kapur.
The infusion of capital will be instrumental in enhancing the brand's technological capabilities, expanding its supply network, and bolstering brand-building efforts.

About the founders
With more than 15 years of travel and hospitality experience across leading brands such as MakeMyTrip.com, Yo! China, cofounder Chirag Goyal has a Hotel Management degree from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering
Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai, and a Business Management degree from Indus Business Academy (IBA), Bangalore. He has been the recipient of the “Exemplary Manager of the Year” award in 2019 & 2020 by MakeMyTrip.
On the other hand, cofounder Ansu Sharma has close to 2 decades of experience in the travel and hospitality industry, across leading brands such as MakeMyTrip.com, and Kuoni. He has an MBA degree from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.
