At a time when layoffs have become a sort of epidemic in India, a Rajasthan-based staffing venture is doing its bit to create employment opportunities for skilled professionals with handsome packages.
Protingent India LLP has launched a specialized Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) service as part of Protingent's global expansion strategy. This service is tailored to meet the unique and complex hiring needs of US-based companies.
Protingent India LLP's RPO service represents a comprehensive approach to recruitment, offering U.S. companies an end-to-end solution that covers everything from job definition to new employee integration.
This service aims to address the fluctuating hiring needs of American businesses by providing a scalable, cost-effective recruitment solution that aligns with the latest market trends and compliance requirements.
"Our new RPO service is designed to be an extension of a company's internal recruitment process, allowing American companies to benefit from Protingent India's two decades of expertise in the recruitment industry," said Harry Saxena, founder of Protingent India LLP, in an exclusive conversation with Startup Pedia.
He further added that by outsourcing their recruitment needs to his staffing venture, American companies can focus on their core operations while Protingent India ensures that they get the best talent available, tailored to their specific needs.
Key Features of Protingent India LLP's RPO Service
Expertise in U.S. Recruitment: With deep knowledge of the U.S. labour market, Protingent India LLP offers a service that understands the unique challenges of hiring in America, from navigating complex legal landscapes to managing fluctuating hiring demands.
Cost-Effective Solutions: The RPO service provides American companies with top-tier recruitment professionals at a fraction of the usual cost. Indian recruiters employed by Protingent India LLP are offered competitive salaries, ensuring high-quality service while keeping costs significantly lower than U.S. market rates.

Bridging the Unemployment Gap in India
The RPO service of the Rajasthan-based staffing venture not only benefits U.S. companies but also contributes to job creation in India.
According to data, in 2020-21, 24.3 million people were unemployed in India. In June 2024, India's unemployment rate was 9.2%, an 8-month high. This is an increase from 7% in May 2024.
On the other hand, the current layoffs are adding to this number, worsening the scenario in India.
In such a dire situation, Protingent India LLP is leveraging American companies' employment needs to create jobs in India. The staffing venture has clients in various sectors, including healthcare, technology, and consumer electronics.
The employees, although working directly with U.S. partners, will be based in India under Protingent India LLP and working in its office.
Since Protingent India's RPO service launched a couple of days ago, it has already placed 10 employees who are working from Protingent India LLP in Rajasthan.
Protingent India LLP's RPO service targets mid-sized tech companies in the U.S. with headcounts between 50 and 100 employees. It is also planning to open a new office in the UK.
"We want to create as many employment opportunities as possible for Indians in various sectors and reduce the unemployment rate in India," said the founder while speaking with Startup Pedia.
Protingent India's Journey So Far
The staffing venture Protingent India was founded by Harry Saxena, who faced significant personal and financial challenges. Harry grew up in a middle-class family in Jaipur and encountered difficulties in his early years, such as health and financial issues. Which led him to drop out of school.
However, these challenges did not deter him from pursuing his dreams. He began his career in sales and support at a very young age to cater to his family's needs and eventually landed a job at Protingent Inc., a staffing company based in the United States, where he worked for three years.
During his time there, Harry realized that he could expand his services to include cost-effective recruitment services by sourcing talent from India. He presented his idea to his CEO, who encouraged him and made Harry a partner in the new company, Protingent India, which was established in 2021.
Having invested Rs. 20 lakhs from his pocket at the time of inception, Harry expanded the company at a relatively fast pace. Currently, Protingent India has 40 employees and has successfully placed over 300 people in the USA.
The staffing venture's first-year revenue was Rs. 1.2 crore which skyrocketed to Rs. 8.3 crore in 2023-24.
