Zomato’ Healthy Mode Now Live in 7 Indian Cities

Zomato’s Healthy Mode is now available in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, and Kolkata, marking a major step in the company’s plan to make nutritious eating simple and accessible.

The feature was first tested in Gurugram, where it received strong user feedback. After positive results, Zomato decided to expand it to more cities.

Sharing the news on X, CEO Deepinder Goyal wrote, “Healthy mode is now available in 7 cities. Already contributing to 5% of platform orders. Thank you all for sharing feedback. We’re keeping a close eye on your inputs and baking (not frying) it into the product.”

When users turn on Healthy Mode, the app filters menus to highlight dishes that are healthier and better balanced. It also flags fried or high-calorie meals, helping people make more informed food choices.

The system uses AI-based ratings to assess the nutritional value of dishes and can even suggest better alternatives.

Early feedback from users across these seven cities has been very positive. Many customers say the feature makes it easier to find healthy dishes without spending extra time comparing menus. Nutrition experts and food reviewers have also praised the simple design and clear health indicators.

Industry watchers see this as a smart step for Zomato, especially as more Indians are looking for meals that fit their fitness goals. The company plans to bring Healthy Mode to more cities soon and add more restaurants offering nutritious options.

With Healthy Mode, Zomato is aiming to make healthy eating a normal part of online food delivery, helping customers make better choices with every order.
