In the short clip, Bansal is seen chatting with his son, Ivaan, as they drive to school.
When Bansal asks what he’s doing, the little boy responds that he’s making a video “from Lenskart B.” The cheerful back-and-forth ends with Bansal wishing his son a good day before heading out.
While simple, the video struck a chord online for its authenticity and charm. It offered fans a glimpse into the personal side of the Shark Tank India judge while subtly teasing Lenskart’s “B” branding.
Many viewers interpreted it as a smart way of blending family warmth with a hint of the company’s upcoming innovation.
Lenskart B Smartglasses: Making UPI Payments by Voice
Following the viral clip, reports confirmed that Lenskart is set to launch its “B Camera Smartglasses”, eyewear capable of making UPI payments using voice authentication.
According to company statements, users will be able to scan merchant QR codes through the glasses’ built-in camera and complete transactions securely using only their voice.
“The role and use of smart glasses in our lives will continue to evolve, and payments are an important part of our daily activity,” Bansal said. “By integrating payments into the camera of smart glasses, we intend to make this a seamless form of payment.”
Combining AI-powered features, point-of-view recording and UPI integration, the B Camera Smartglasses represent a major leap for Lenskart, transforming it from an eyewear retailer into a tech-driven lifestyle brand.
