In the video, Singh asks his mother and father to close their eyes and sit together and then surprises them by placing a wad of Rs 500 notes in their hands.

He captioned the clip, “First salary, straight to parents. Far from perfect but this is all I got”.

“Oh wow! What is this?” his mother says initially, “Wow! Amazing. Awesome. That is a lot of money,” showing an emotion of pride and happiness that came along with this milestone. Singh’s heartfelt act was well appreciated by social media users, who praised him for his respect and love towards his parents.
