Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh seems to be on a business spree.

After protein brand Superyou, he has now launched a new vodka brand that promises to change how contemporary India experiences vodka.

Rangeela is a new vodka brand made by ABD Maestro Pvt. Ltd.

It comes under Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD) as its premium luxury spirits arm.

WHY “RANGEELA?”

Now, Ranveer Singh serves as the creative partner and co-founder of ABD Maestro Pvt. Ltd.

Rangeela, staying true to its name, aims to celebrate India's spirit and colours.

“With RANGEELA Vodka, we are bringing something that celebrates the spirit of all of us. The universe of the brand is colourful, energetic and vibrant. We are creative, confident, and expressive. It’s for the ones who live life to the fullest and are unafraid to be seen, heard, and celebrated. It is born out of this very spirit,”Ranveer Singh said, according to the Times of India.

WHAT DOES RANGEELA PROMISE

As per reports, the new alcohol brand promises to live up to the best standards of vodka, while being triple distilled and platinum chill-filtered.

It will ensure smoothness and consistency, while being versatile enough to be used at home as a smooth shot or in flavoured cocktails like those of citruses, espresso mixes, and cranberry.

Currently, it is available in Maharashtra and is set to expand to Goa, West Bengal, and North India.

ARE NETIZENS CONFUSED?

As the news spread, some netizens called the actor out for selling protein on one hand, and alcohol on the other.

One person even said “They call themselves youth icons.”

Another wrote that Ranveer Singh wants people to be healthy in the morning with Superyou, and drunk by the evening.
